Majestically separated
from Peninsular Malaysia, Langkawi can be easily reached
by sea or air. Regular ferry services from Kuala Kedah,
Kuala Perlis, Penang and Satun (which is the border
town in Southern Thailand) which will take approximately
55 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. There are also daily
direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore
to Langkawi International Airport, which will take approximately
30 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes. Travelling time depends
on the distance of the jetty or airport where transportation
is taken. |
